Justice Clarence Thomas decried the contemporary culture of victimhood during remarks Thursday [02/15/18], telling an audience at the Library of Congress that constant aggrievement would exhaust the country.
He is right.
“‘At some point we’re going to be fatigued with everybody being a victim,’ he said.” We hear the poison spread by the Progressive left all the time. We are, we’re told, racists. sexists, misogynists, homophobes, and xenophobes. This poison comes exclusively from the left in their attempt to divide people.
You hear no such divisive language from Conservatives. It only exists in the playpen of the left. It come from Democrats in Congress, Democrats in their activist base, Democratic pundits, and the left leaning Main Stream Media.
One hears this nasty language from the left when Progressives have no arguments to make against common sense Conservative ideas and legislative proposals. For example, erecting a wall on our Southern border to deter illegal aliens from entering our country, decreasing the flow of drugs into America, and inhibiting human trafficking is labeled as a racist policy.
How is it possible that getting control of our borders can be a racist objective? Obviously, it is not a racist objective. A country that cannot control its borders is not a country.
There are several things you can do too counter this damaging trend. You can no longer pay attention to their deflection and diversion messages. You also can vote for Mike Braun, Dr. Richard Moss, Diego Morales, Stephen MacKenzie, Rep. Jim Banks, and Trey Hollingsworth. These Conservative Indiana candidates don’t use this kind of poisonous, divisive language. They don’t have to. They have positive, productive ideas that they can articulate in the policy sphere.
These Conservatives don’t have to demean others. They simply have solid ideas to promote for the safety, security, and prosperity of the American people. They will work to make America great again, not tear it down.
