Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,President Trump, the only real outsider working in Washington, delivered a State of the Union speech that was nothing less than spectacular. Unlike his immediate predecessor, B. Hussein Obama, President Trump sounded like the very real American that he is. No one, except UniParty members threatened by the outsider, could have listened to the speech without a sense of hope, a sense that America is good, and that our nation is being led by an American who believes in the uniqueness of America.
The Democrats in attendance provided visible evidence as to who is opposed to America and original intent of the founders. This writer has said repeatedly that politicians in Washington are the real problem. There is no doubt here in the woods that UniParty is real and that it is controlled by the Democrat wing of the evil coalition.
With President Trump in the White House, we have an opportunity to end the UniParty threat to our nation. Republicans, claiming to be working hard for us, in UniParty must accept the challenge to do so. They must act quickly, decisively, and with a firm commitment to make real change in how business is done in Washington. The time is right to destroy Democratic Party control of the political process for the next fifty years.
America First—by making America great again must become the ethic by which Republicans live and work. The voices of sanity that voters sent to Washington must be heard. Those voices must ring loud and clear from television and radio broadcasts across this nation. These voices must turn from supporting and enabling the losers in our society to a focus on the winners in our society.
They must proclaim that government is not Santa Claus with handouts for the undeserving but governs in a land of opportunity for those willing to work to make a better life for themselves. A necessary step must be the removal of Mitch McConnell as the leader of Senate Republicans. McConnell has proven again and again that he is willing to accede to the will of Democrats who set the agenda.
Republicans must revisit original intent of the founders. The Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution make clear how the federal government should function. Some voters understand it. Every Republican in Washington should understand original intent as well. Those who don’t should be removed from any position of influence in Washington.
Senator David Perdue is in a position to assume a leadership role in the transition to sanity in Washington politics. He understands the threat of excessive debt and the illegal immigration issue. He is building a name for himself on popular media. He should occasionally discuss issues with the big names in talk radio. Perdue has the look, the knowledge, and energy to assist the true outsider, Donald Trump, in ending the belief that America is not the oppressive nation described by Democrats and their cohorts at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, and the New York Times.
