He is describing an American party that reaches out to every American, that makes the case that America is an idea worth fighting for. He suggests that we have a model for success: the American model of limited government, lower taxes, less red tape, more entrepreneurship, more take-home pay, more local control, which means more local responsibility, and a foundation of rights that come from our Creator.
We have in Indiana, a group of candidates who are all on board with these American ideals. Mike Braun, Dr. Richard Moss, Diego Morales, Stephen MacKenzie, Rep. Jim Banks, and Trey Hollingsworth are with the President. Like the other Conservative candidates running for Congress, Mike Braun is 100% pro-life and will support term limits. As a successful businessman, Mike Braun is all about promoting entrepreneurship. Dr. Moss and the others support limited and streamlined government as well as reduction in job killing regulations.
It is quite odd that these values which President Trump and theses candidates promote have to be fought for. These values … are, after all, those of the founding generation which were passed forward to future generations. Between then and now, something went terribly wrong. What went wrong was the emergence of the Progressive ideology.
President Trump and theses candidates are aggressively trying to right this wrong. The Progressives in the Democrat party are fighting to maintain a large bureaucratic Government. They fight to increase and complicate taxes. They are fighting to regulate everything in Americans lives and delay projects with red tape. You saw this when President Obama told businessmen that they didn’t build their businesses.
It’s entirely up to us, we the American people, to determine whether we will return to the American way chosen by the founding generation, or reject their vision and choose the dysfunctional ways of the Progressive Democrats’ ideology. Are you registered to vote, and do you have your ticket to make this extremely important decision in May and November?
