Media Release from the Office of Delegate LeMunyon on October 25, 2017
(Chantilly, VA)—Delegate Jim LeMunyon has received the endorsement of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s NOVABIZPAC for election again this year to the Virginia House of Delegates. The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce is an organization focused on growing businesses through relationship building and partnership engagement throughout the Greater Washington area. It is the largest chamber of commerce in the region and includes 700 organizations and 500,000 employees.
As a business person, Jim LeMunyon understands how jobs are created and what it takes to make our economy grow. He has been a partner with the Northern Virginia Chamber in advancing a pro-business agenda for our region, and his practical experience in business is a real asset to the Virginia General Assembly (said Scott McGeary, Chair of NOVABIZPAC).
I’m delighted to receive this recognition for the fifth consecutive year from NOVABIZPAC (said Delegate LeMunyon). It is inspiring to be able to support our region’s job creators in making Northern Virginia a great place to start and grow a business.
LeMunyon is the co-founder of Sterling Semiconductor, now a unit of Dow Corning. The company is one of three companies in the United States that produces silicon carbide, an advanced electronic material essential for microchips used in solar power, electric vehicles and data centers.
