Letter to Constituents
The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority is holding a public hearing on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Fairfax related to funding proposed regional transportation projects.
The meeting will be held at the NVTA’s office at 3040 Williams Drive, Suite 200, Fairfax, Virginia (near Rt. 50 just west of the Beltway). An informal open house will begin at 5:30 PM in which the public can learn about the planned projects. The formal meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.
A summary of the projects under consideration may be found here. Each project has been scored according to its congestion reduction impact, as required by H.B. 599, a law I authored in 2012.
If you cannot attend, the NVTA is accepting comments via email until July 23, 2017. You can submit comments by email at: TransActionUpdate@NVTATransAction.org
Although I am not a member of the Authority, please copy me on any comments you send, as I follow the Authority’s work closely and often discuss with them elements of their transportation program.
If you have any questions or issues you would like me to address, please contact me at 703-264-1432 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for the opportunity to represent you in the Virginia House of Delegates.
Yours for good government,
