Ed Gillespie squeaked out a win in the Republican primary election for Governor of Virginia in the party’s primary election on June 13. In a race that was much closer than predicted by most political pundits, Mr. Gillespie beat second place finisher Corey Stewart, the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Prince William County, by 1.18% of the vote.
