I’ve been told, and long believed, that music sends out positive vibrations, even if you sometimes can’t see them/feel them directly.
Certainly inside ourselves, we can feel the happy energy that comes from playing/learning an instrument. Even if frustration ensues, there is still a pleasure in gaining confidence and seeing our growth as we get better, slowly but surely, and the satisfaction that comes from sticking with something, as well as the parts of our brain which are enlivened when we do anything creative.
As an artist, it’s easy at times to forget about how many people I may be reaching at any given time—how far-reaching the good vibrations I am manifesting and sending out really are.
But I was told once that even if I cannot see the direct impact my music has, it is important to keep the chain of energy going, even when I may be doubtful or challenged by a temporary lull in my career.
So, too, do all of our good vibrations go, even if we do not see it at every moment. Energy is like the wind—not seen, but felt, and definitely with a significant bearing on (in this case) the nature of our souls and others.
Whatever you are doing that is creative, that is fun, that is from the heart—continue, don’t give up. Even when you’re sure that it doesn’t matter. Because it always does. The good vibrations are always, always traveling throughout the universe, healing, helping, inspiring—making the world a little better, one note at a time.
