Fairfax, VA – Today, Delegate Tim Hugo announced that Michelle Baker will be joining his office in the role of District Director.
Michelle brings a wealth of experience obtained over many years across several disciplines from her work in Prince William County (said Delegate Hugo). Through her work and volunteer efforts, she understands the issues facing families in Northern Virginia. I am confident in her ability to help manage the issues and concerns of the citizens in Fairfax and Prince William counties.
A longtime Prince William County resident, she most recently held the position of Managing Editor at the Gainesville Times and the Prince William Times newspapers. With more than 30 years of experience in the newspaper industry, she has covered numerous issues including politics on the local, state, and national levels. In addition to her work with local non-profit organizations, she has represented Prince William County parents on district and local school advisory councils for more than 20 years. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from San Francisco State University.
I am excited to join this office and I will bring energy and enthusiasm to helping Delegate Hugo serve the citizens of Fairfax and Prince William counties (said Michelle Baker). This position on Delegate Hugo’s team opens a new avenue for me to help the community and I am looking forward to this opportunity.
